Caretaking questions
How often should a second home be checked?
Most owners book a close-up clean, a visit every two to four weeks while they are away, and an open-up clean before they return. Dust settles in an empty home too, so regular visits keep it ready.
Can you get the house ready before we arrive?
Yes. We do an open-up clean before you arrive, so fresh beds and a clean home are waiting. Ask Lacy when you book to set the dates.
Do you need a key or a code?
Yes. Many owners leave a key or code, and we work out gate access with you when you book. Ask Lacy how you would like that handled.
What happens if you find a problem?
We tell you what we find in a short report after the visit. Lacy’s husband is a licensed general contractor, so we can quote the repair and get it fixed before you are back.
